What To Expect
Step back in time and explore Bali’s most famous underwater relic with the SSI Wreck Diving Specialty Course at Bali Celebes Dive. This 1-day program includes 3 open water dives at the world-renowned USAT Liberty Wreck in Tulamben, offering a perfect balance of history, adventure, and skill development.
Your day begins with a classroom briefing at our dive center, where you’ll learn about wreck diving techniques, safety procedures, equipment setup, and how to navigate safely around and inside wreck structures. Our experienced instructors will guide you on how to avoid hazards, control buoyancy precisely, and respect the marine life and history surrounding the wreck.
Then, it’s time to dive! You’ll complete three exciting wreck dives, progressively improving your comfort and technique. You’ll explore the exterior and interior sections of the USAT Liberty, practice reel use and penetration skills (within safe limits), and discover how to maintain perfect trim and awareness in tight spaces.
By the end of the course, you’ll earn your SSI Wreck Diving Specialty certification, opening the door to exploring wrecks around the world with confidence.
