What To Expect
The PADI Rescue Diver Course at Scuba Diving Surabaya Academy takes your diving skills and awareness to a professional level. This course focuses on building your confidence and teaching you how to manage diving emergencies — both minor and major — through realistic, hands-on training. You’ll learn how to prevent problems, recognize stress in yourself and others, and perform effective rescues underwater and at the surface.
Training includes 1 EFR (Emergency First Response) workshop, 1 theory class, and 2 open-water dives at Pasir Putih, Situbondo, where you’ll simulate real-life rescue scenarios under the guidance of experienced PADI instructors. All scuba gear, tanks, and weights are provided. Transport and accommodation are not included, allowing flexibility for your travel and stay.

Day 1 (Surabaya)
- EFR Workshop — First Aid & CPR training for diving emergencies
- Theory Class — Rescue knowledge development and dive emergency management
Day 2 (Situbondo)
- Open-Water Dive 1: Practice key rescue techniques and stress management underwater
- Open-Water Dive 2: Full simulation of rescue scenarios — panicked diver, missing diver, and unconscious diver response
- Course debriefing and certification
